Who we are
For the first twenty years of our ministry lives, Amy and I operated from a non-miraculous viewpoint and practice. We loved God with all our hearts and were completely sold out to Him. We did anything and everything He asked us to do, however crazy it might have sounded to us at the time. But … we lived without God’s power available to work in us or through us. We believed that God could do things, but we didn’t know how to bring it about. This was to be expected because this is how we were trained in Bible College and Seminary. We were taught…
“God can do things, and sometimes He will.
But it’s very rare, and there is no human agency
other than to ask Him to do it.”
This is how it went for two decades. Us wanting Him to move. Us praying for Him to move. And by and large, Him not moving.
And then, one fateful day, God intervened in our lives and showed us HOW He can work in supernatural ways.
We studied the Bible extensively for months, and prayed for Him to show us more truth. And show us He did! Eventually the power of God fell on us, and on our small church in rural Virginia … and NOTHING has been the same since!
Fast forward 20+ years and we found ourselves in the middle of another powerful move of the Holy Spirit, that we ourselves were leading. Every week we witnessed countless miracles as God’s power was released in our natural world. It was like living in the time of the Gospels and the book of Acts!
At the inception of the Holy Spirit’s move, God led us to develop a training and equipping time, that eventually became a series of six courses through which people could understand, apprehend, and walk in the power of God. These trainings started with times of teaching followed by times of workshop where the attendees actually “did the things” they were learning about. Eventually books happened. Then workbooks in support of the books.
As it stands today, each course consists of 10 weeks of classes on a given topic. Each course builds on the previous course. Each course moves you closer and closer to becoming a fully manifested ambassador of the Kingdom of God. And that is our ultimate goal .. for each of us to be as much like Jesus as we possibly can!
